LOU GEHRIG, VIVIEN LEIGH MOST SOUGHT AFTER IN LELANDS.COM WINTER AUCTION.   Believed to be the first and only signed version of its kind in existence, the famous Lou Gehrig 1939 final farewell photograph generated 41 bids and ultimately sold for a whopping $108,169 in Lelands.com’s winter auction. Considered one of the greatest baseball players of all time, Gehrig signed few autographs after being diagnosed with ALS, hence this signature is very, very rare.

Historic 1914 Boston Braves World Series ring, issued to Hall of Fame second baseman Johnny Evers to be featured in upcoming Robert Edward Auction. When Robert Edward Auctions was first contacted by a member of the Evers family about this ring they were both somewhat skeptical and excited. Skeptical because it was their understanding that the first team-issued World Series rings ever produced were those given to the New York Giants players in 1922. Excited, because the discovery of this ring not only potentially rewrites World Series ring history, but solves a long-standing hobby mystery as well.
